Matt Reichelderfer started his FS Career with FS98 in 1999 and joined Cardinal Virtual Airlines. After flying a few flights he found that he couldn't keep up with his demanding High School/Marching Band/Work schedule so had to quit. In 2006 his wife bought him FSX, which rekindled his love of aircraft and flying virtually. He jumped from airline to airline until he found his current "fun" VA and stayed there. In May 2007 he found MetroAir which he found to be more realistic and joined. He found that MetroAir's constant updates and news headlines that this was the place for him. His goal since he joined the airline was to become a manager of this great airline. In December of 2007 he became Hub Manager for MetroAir's new hub at Washington Dulles International Airport. Matt hopes that he can make an impact on the airline and it's pilots.
Real Life
In 2006 Matt graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology. Currently he works for a manufacturer of medical devices as a Quality Engineer. He is married and has no children. When not flying for MetroAir or approving IAD's latest PIREPs he enjoys plane spotting at PHL, going to Penn State Football games (at least watching them on TV), praying that the Buffalo Bills have a better season next year, and playing Guitar Hero.
