Alex Newton
From MetroAirWiki
Alex joined the MetroAir community back in June of 2007. Then in 2008, Alex's application for Human Resource Manager was accepted and he joined the MetroAir Virtual staff. Before MetroAir, Alex had been a pilot at a couple of virtual airlines and was the Phoenix Hub Manager at the now defunct, America West Virtual Airlines.
Alex has been an avid aviation fan since he could remember. One dream for Alex for a long time has been to become a commercial airline pilot. As the time comes closer into looking at schools for furthuring education, Alex is now not sure that a pilot job is exactly what he wants in life but it is still an avenue he is considering.
Alex first got involved in flight simulator after playing an arcade style flight game at a local arcade where you control a Boeing 747. Then, after getting very much interested in the arcade game, Alex received Flight Simulator 98. After getting bored with FS98, Alex took a very long break from flight simming. Then, with the release of Flight Simulator 2004, Alex got very much back into flight simming.
In August 2008, Alex enters his Junior year of high school with the hopes of continuing with his high school success and hopefully taking some flight lessons after getting two logged hours in an Embry-Riddle Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
Alex hopes to help out in MetroAir Virtual in any way, shape, or form. From the start, Alex has never had the thought of resigning at MetroAir Virtual as the community is so extremely strong. Alex hopes to spend many, many more years at MetroAir as either a pilot or staff member. If you need to contact Alex, please visit the contact page on the MetroAir Virtual website.
