MetroAir Announces expansion of South American Destinations

September 22, 2012 - Featured Post, News, Operations

Kansas City,MO – MetroAir Virtual Airlines inaugurated new service to South America today.  The airline quietly started selling tickets last month for the new service which the airlines report sold out quickly as MetroAir undercut prices in an effort to promote the service.

The two flights, both departing from MetroAir’s Fort Lauderdale focus city, will be conducted using state of the art Airbus A320 passenger airliners and service Peru’s capitol city of Lima.  The other aircraft will take a slightly shorter flight to Venezuela’s capitol of Santiago de León de Caracas, most frequently referred to as simply Caracas.

The move is another in a series of pushes into the South American continent as MetroAir has been seeking to expand its offerings in traveling abroad as well as expand its operations at Fort Lauderdale.
